IBM Global Campus: Advanced Web Accessibility Education Course
- Funded by: IBM Accessibility Center for 6 months.
- Work of the project: WebAIM created a course for the IBM Global Campus on Web accessibility.
Project Overview
In 2003, IBM was interested in offering a high quality course on web accessibility to IBM employees worldwide. The course would be available through the IBM Global Campus. WebAIM created the content for 6 instructional units in whole or part. IBM staff then embedded the content into their course management system for delivery. The content focused on accessibility of the following topics:
- Complex Tables
- Forms in Tables
- JavaScript
- Applets: Java
- Multimedia
- Web Evaluation and Repair Tools
