CTRL + N

New Stream

Creates a new stream that can be used to create captions. This allows for the creation of captions in multiple languages.

CTRL + O

Open Stream

Opens a previously saved stream.

CTRL + S

Save Stream

Saves the current stream.

CTRL + P

Print

Prints the current stream.

CTRL + X

Cut

Cuts the currently selected text to the clipboard.

CTRL + C

Copy

Copies the currently selected text to the clipboard.

CTRL + V

Paste

Pastes the contents of the clipboard to the current cell.

CTRL + L

Select All

Selects the entire contents of a cell.

ENTER & ENTER

New Event

Creates a new event beneath the current event. (Rapidly press the Enter key twice.)

SHIFT + Delete

Delete Event

Deletes the current event.

F9

Grab Timecode

Gets the timecode of the media at its current position and records it in the TIMECODE column of the current event.  If a timecode already exists for this event, it is replaced without warning.

F10

Insert Erasure

Creates an empty event in with the current timecode of the media. The event is placed just previous to the current event.

CTRL + up arrow

Move Up One Cell.

Moves the cursor position up one cell.  If the cursor is currently in the first event, it will move to the Comments field.

CTRL + down arrow

Move Down One Sell

Moves the cursor position down one cell.  If the cursor is currently in the last event, it will move to the Title field.

CTRL + right arrow

Move Right One Cell

Moves the cursor position right one cell.  If the cursor is currently in the rightmost column it will move to the leftmost column of the next line.

CTRL + left arrow

Move Left One Cell

Moves the cursor position left one cell.  If the cursor is currently in the leftmost column it will move to the rightmost column of the previous line.

F5

Pause

Pauses the media at the current position.

F6

Play

Plays the media from the current position.

F7

Stop

Stops the media and returns it to the starting position.

F11

Jog Backward

Moves the media player head back 0.01 seconds.

F12

Jog Forward

Moves the media player head forward 0.01 seconds.

CTRL + SHIFT + F11

Jump Backward

Moves the media player head back 5 seconds.

CTRL + SHIFT + F12

Jump Forward

Moves the media player head forward 5 seconds.

F4

Sync Player to Stream

Moves the player head to the timecode of the current event.

SHIFT + F4

Sync Stream to Player

Moves the cursor to the event that corresponds to the current position of the player head.
